Newsflash : 9:00 PM : Jessie and Matt Appear in GKTW Village Idol Contest - They're Going to Hollywood !!

A quick update for tonight. Tonight, it was "Kid's Night Out" , and Kristi and I got to have a night out without the kids. When we got back from Dinner, we went to the Theatre to see the Give Kids The World : Village Idol Show. (in the format of American Idol).

To our suprise, Jessie and Matt got up and did "YMCA". They had a little bit of stage fright, but we all had a good time.

The theatre is spectacular, and I think that it may have been donated by Sylvester Stalone. Anyway, the kids (and grown-ups) are treated to as much popcorn, candy, drinks, and ICEEs that they want during the show and the volunteers and staff really keep things pumped up. It was so much fun for Jessie.

When the Make-A-Wish volunteers first met with Jessie, they commented on how much that she liked to perform, so it looks like she got an unexpected gift tonight. She got to perform on stage in front of a lot of people. The were cheering wildly! She had a grin from ear-to-ear.
