Jessie Moved Her ARM ! ! ! ! and Presidential and Congressional Gifts

http://www.prayforjessie.org/

Today, Jessie Moved Her ARM...on purpose!!! OK, Jessie was sitting on the toilet, and her arm was in front of her. So Kristi, not thinking, told Jessie to move her left arm out of the way....and Jessie did it!!!! We tried again, but got nothing.

We'll take it!!!! That made our day today. Praise God and this blessing today!! It was such a huge boost of hope that we so desperately needed.

Yesterday, Jessie received an INCREDIBLE, once-in-a-lifetime letter from President George W. Bush. I'm not kidding...OUR President!! Of our great country!! The United States of America!!! It was a very personal letter to Jessie from Mr. Bush and the First Lady, and something that Jessie will treasure forever.

Like that wasn't enought, Jessie also received an AMAZING Gift from the Honorable Kay Granger of the U.S. Congress. It was the American Flag that flew over the United States Capitol on June 11th, 2008; the day of Jessie's surgery. The Certificate that came with it read :

"At the request of the Honorable Kay Granger, Member of Congress, this flag was flown in honor of Miss Jessie Hall for her courageous fight and her inspiration to all who know her. Our prayers are with you daily."

WOW!!!!! I'm glad that Jessie is a confirmed Republican.

Also, some of you asked about the Split-Belt Treadmill that Jessie is using at Kennedy Krieger Institute (KKI), so I've attached a link that tells about the research lab and the machine itself. http://www.kennedykrieger.org/kki_misc.jsp?pid=5662

We so appreciate everyone's orders for prayforjessie gear. All of the proceeds from these sales will go to The Hemispherectomy Foundation. Thank You.

God Bless and have a Great Weekend. - Cris

Oh, Kristi and Cris, this is the most awesome news! There has to be some little tiny thing there that can keep wiring to produce more and more as time goes on. Hope the docs and therapy girls think this is an awesome happening and will continue to keep working the left arm and hand. We all know, down the road, there are more possibilities to help. Keep up the encouragement and asking Jessie to do something and hopefully more movements will begin to happen. And, yes, we will take that very special occurance as a great sign for more good things to come.

We love you so much and we will see you soon.

PRAISE GOD, for His faithfulness and answered prayer!!! I continue to pray for Jessie (and family) and check in daily. I too will take this movement as a sign of greater things to come. (Do not despise the day of small things? Zec 4:10) This may start small but it is very significant for what God is up to. May God's peace wash over you all.

I am glad to see that Jessie continues to improve. You may already be aware of this, but Channel 5 did a quick update on Jessie this morning (Saturday), and also said that everyone going to the Texas Rangers' game tomorrow should wear pink in support of Jessie. How exciting! I know you are looking forward to seeing the rest of your family July 1 and eventually returning to home. Continue to hang in there.

That is all awesome news! A letter from the President and First Lady, getting the flag that was flown on June 11, (her surgery date) how COOL! And the icing on the case, Jessie moving her arm!

Can't wait to see how many wear pink to the Texas Rangers Game tomorow!

And the cold front is suppose to come thru here in Texas, it's been super HOT... so hopefully it won't be in the upper 90's like it's been!

Keep up the hard work Jessie and you'll be walking out of there soon!

We miss you! Thanks for all the wonderful posts!

Lots of Love and continued prayers from Aledo,TX

Jessie, you are incredible!!! Her being able to move her left arm is such an extraordinary, uplifting gift (and you know there’s more where that came from- thank you, Lord!). I am praying for continued encouragement for you all, and for increasingly exceptional progress as July 17th approaches. Keep up the great work, Jessie! I love all of the pictures from KKI- thank you for allowing us to walk beside you and witness Jessie’s recovery. A letter from President Bush and the First Lady, plus the June 11 flag…wow! God bless America- I love this great country! Jessie has touched so many, and I truly believe that the Lord has chosen to reveal Himself to many people through the miracles that He is working in her life.
