Denise reported that the surgery started at 9:32 am your time, and now they're closing up - to be done by 4:00pm - that means 6 1/2 hours right?! Half the time that we were expecting it to be! That is from Prayer! This is miracle #1. What's next?

Our prayers and thoughts are with you and Jessie today. My wife and I have sat in the GOR waiting area about 46 times waiting for Dr. Carson to come from the OR with the news.

You have the best helping your daughter today as Dr. Carson believes that he is doing the work of the Lord through him.

God bless you and your family.

What awesome news...and just reading the comments, God is so amazing. Jessie is touching so many lives. Our family, our friends in Lubbock (Tech friends), and Bro's baseball team all took time yesterday to speak to God and asked for successful surgery, quick healing, and comfort for mom and dad. May you be feeling the power of Him...loves to you, Wonder woman. :)

Jessie, Kristi, and Cris,

I loved having the opportunity to get to know your family through the Star-Telegram article yesterday. Jessie, even though we have not met, I know that your strength and courage are having an incredible impact on many people. What an amazing testimony to God’s sovereignty and grace you are! I pray that you have a flawless and very quick recovery. You are a precious little light! Kristi and Cris, I know how trying this time is, but I am confidant that the Lord is doing great things through your beautiful little girl. Jessie is His vessel, and I know that He has big plans for her. I am familiar with life-altering surgery- a great team of doctors saved my life on November 26, 2007 after years of debilitating illness. Thanks to them, I saw my 22nd birthday, and am back in school. Please know that I am praying that the Lord would surround you all with His peace and comfort as you continue to trust in His perfect will.

It is wonderful news to hear that all has gone well for Jessie and her family today.
Cris and Kristi, the scenes around Aledo would amaze you, I have been taking pictures. Your friends and neighbors have been praying outside of your house, in their own homes and there is a long list of prayer hours at your church. Oh and of course, there are too many pink bracelets on wrists in Aledo to even count them all.
With all the prayers surrounding you, the road to recovery should be blessed too.
